I have a Degree in Architecture and Multimedia, with a strong passion in construction engineering. I have also completed an Adv Diploma in Building Technology with 700 hrs of trade work.
I have currently been employed at News Queensland for 9 years, where I currently hold the positon as Lead Digital Designer. My core responsibilty is to drive revenue opportunities through the commercial and print sides of the business whilst supporting all marketing campaigns and driving new digital innovations through the company's watchful eye.
In a nut shell
Growing up from a young age I wanted to be an Architect. I studied Urban architecture and attended numerous construction technology courses, my passion for this led me into the digital world where I produced a handful of 3d space walk through animations for some large development company's through-out Brisbane. My desire to tap into the digital world led me to further my studies at QANTM and explore the boundaries of UX Design, Information architecture and User Centred Design.
I've surrounded my life around art and design since I was in primary school. So without saying my age, I've spent roughly 25 years of my life loving design and enjoying working with the people and the personalities that make projects come to life.
My friends would describe me as very loyal, honest, hard working and fun to be around.
